A 32-year-old South Korean University Student, touring Japan, was arrested for striking a bus driver, while it was stopped at the Kiyota district of Sapporo.

According to the police, the woman attempted to exit the bus without paying the fare, prompting the male bus driver to grab her carry-on suitcase, at which point she struck the driver’s arm.

The male driver called 110, saying, “An Asian woman said she had no money and hit me.”

Police officers who arrived at the scene immediately arrested the woman.

In questioning, the 32-year-old South Korean university student stated that she was “on a trip” and claimed she had enough money to pay for the bus fare.
