An Indonesian National, Muhammad Nur Kholis (29), was arrested for breaking into a company dormitory in Aso City, Kumamoto, and strangling his ex-girlfriend, claiming he wanted to “get back together.”
According to police, Kholis broke a sliding window and entered the dormitory, strangling and slapping the female victim. A company security guard then called police who rushed over to the scene and arrested Kholis on the spot.
Kholis largely admits to the charges, but denies slapping the woman. Police believe his motive was to pressure the woman and attempted to reconcile.
