Gian Carlo Chirinous Flores, 26, a Peruvian National was arrested in Owariashi City for causing a car accident, seriously injuring his wife in the process, and fleeing the scene. According to reports, Chirinous Flores crashed into a bus stop wall and a flower bed on the sidewalk. His wife 32, who was riding with him suffered serious injuries, including broken ribs. He allegedly abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.
The abandoned car was a rental and during questioning, the Peruvian admitted to the charges.
