Yakuza Attempt to Steal Gold bars from 50yo Lady

In an incident on the streets of Taito Ward, Tokyo, three members affiliated with the designated Yakuza group Inagawa-kai have been arrested for attempting to rob a businesswoman of gold bullion valued at 140 million yen. The suspects, including Toshi Takahashi (39), are accused of trying to snatch 15 kg of gold bullion, equivalent to approximately 140 million yen, from a woman in her 50s who owns a precious metals trading company in Ueno, Taito Ward, causing her injuries, including bruises all over her body.According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, before the incident, Takahashi allegedly instructed “executioners” in Kanagawa Prefecture, who then headed to the scene.

During questioning, Takahashi and two other suspects denied the allegations, while one of them admitted, “I was the one driving.” The investigation is ongoing to uncover further details about the motive and planning behind this violent attempted robbery.
