A 25-year-old Vietnamese National was arrested for breaking into the apartment of a female acquaintance living in Oita City, stealing cash and jewelry in the process.
The man is suspected of breaking into the apartment of a 39-year-old female, stealing 22,000 Yen and jewelry worth about 50,000 Yen. After receiving a report, the police were able to identify the suspect through security camera footage, obtained an arrest warrant and pursued his whereabouts. It was later discovered he had already been arrested in Hokkaido for violating immigration laws.
