Seventeen individuals, including a Vietnamese woman who managed a girls’ bar in Yushima, Tokyo, were arrested by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police for allegedly allowing employees to serve customers without proper permits.
Among the arrested were Nguyen Thi Anh (26) and Duong Thi Minh Hong (28), who managed the girls’ bar “Queen” in Bunkyo Ward.
Over the span of six years, they managed five bars in areas including Roppongi and Kinshicho, where traditional Vietnamese attire was highlighted. Within the time span, they generated approximately 440 million yen in revenue.
