Lai Hsuan-Chen, a native of Taiwan, was arrested for following a woman late at night and intruding into her apartment in Tokyo.
Lai allegedly entered the elevator with the woman, but fled when she sought for help from another resident. Despite originally coming to Japan for tourism, he is also suspected of stalking another woman the next day.
During investigations, he admitted to the charges, stating, “she looks like a woman I know.”
