Reggae Singer Arrested for Possession of Marijuana

The Narcotics Control Department of the Kinki Health and Welfare Bureau arrested a singer for possession of approximately 250g of dried cannabis at an apartment in Osaka.

The suspect, Masaru Fujita, 43, a singer from Osaka, was arrested on suspicion of breaching the Marijuana Control Law.

The Narcotics Control Department says that Fujita is suspected of possessing approximately 250g of dried cannabis for sales purposes and growing 35 cannabis plants in the room in April this year.

The suspect is a reggae musician under the name ‘MARSHALL’.

The department hasn’t revealed the suspect’s identity.
