A Malaysian National was arrested on suspicion of violating the Narcotics and Psychotropics Control Act.
According to reports, the Malaysian is suspected of smuggling 570 grams of the drug ketamine hidden in the hollowed-out thick soles of two pairs of sandals, placed in a suitcase, and brought them to Fukuoka Airport.
The Malaysian denies the charges, stating, “I didn’t know drugs were inside.”
