Chinese National Graffitied “Toilet” on Shrine

A video went viral on Chinese social media, where a man is seen making a gesture of urinating towards a shrine pillar, then spraying the word “toilet” with red spray paint, and finally walking away.

The video is believed to be taken on the morning of June 1, when graffiti was found on a stone pillar, at Yasukuni Shrine.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police are trying to track down the Chinese man in the video, but according to investigators, he has already returned to China.

It has also been discovered that this man together with another man, is believed to have been caught on a nearby security camera at around 10pm on May 31, the day before the incident has discovered, and the Police are investigating the involvement of several people.
