Bo Quang Chanh (38), a Vietnamese National was arrested by the Tanashi Police in Tokyo for slashing his 20-year old Vietnamese friend. He denies the charges, saying he was drunk and that he doesn’t remember.
Reports say that he slashed the man’s left arm with a blade-like object causing injuries that will take three months to heal completely. The injured man sought help at a house near the apartment, and a resident called the police. When police arrived, they found the suspect sleeping at a shrine and took him into custody. Near the apartment entrance, four knives believed to be the weapons were found on the ground.
