A Vietnamese man living in Hamamatsu City has been arrested for sexually assaulting a woman working at an escort service. The man has admitted to the act but claims there was consent.
The man, a 28-year-old Vietnamese restaurant worker from Sumiyoshi, Hamamatsu City, was arrested in late February on suspicion of engaging in sexual intercourse with a woman working at an escort service at a love hotel.
The incident came to light after the woman reported it to the police, and while the man has acknowledged the act, he claims there was consent.
