Thai National Stabs Man to Death over Verbal Altercation

In the incident that occurred in a busy district of Yokohama on the 2nd, where three people were stabbed and one person died, it has been revealed that the arrested Thai man had stabbed the male victim multiple times.

The suspect, Kwankisarot Runlao (53), a Thai national and a restaurant employee, is suspected of fatally stabbing a man in the chest and other parts with a knife-like object on the streets of Yokohama’s Naka Ward on the night of the 2nd. He was sent for prosecution on the morning of the 4th.

Runlao is reportedly denying the allegations.

Subsequent interviews with eyewitnesses and other sources have confirmed that Runlao had stabbed the male victim multiple times in the right chest and back.

The altercation between the groups began when the victims kicked a bicycle placed in front of a restaurant, and it is reported that two other individuals were also stabbed and suffered varying degrees of injuries. The police are conducting a detailed investigation to understand the sequence of events.
