A Sri Lankan National, Abeysuriya Pathabadige Pathum Udayanga (31), living in Narita City, who was previously arrested on suspicion of arson, has been re-arrested for theft, stealing the cellphone of a woman he met through social media.
The woman had been found dead in May 1 in the man’s apartment where a fire had occured.
Abeysuriya’s apartment caught fire on May 1,and a woman’s body was found in the burnt remains. The police arrested him on May 3 on suspicion of arson.
