On the 16th, the Kanto-Shinetsu Regional Bureau of Health and Welfare’s Narcotics Control Department announced that they had arrested a man on suspicion of violating the Narcotics and Psychotropics Control Act for possessing approximately 1 kilogram of dried cannabis.
The suspect is Kim Gil-yong (46), a South Korean National and retail worker living in Machida City, Tokyo. He is also a rapper under the name “bay4k.”
He was caught in the act and arrested on March 18 for possessing about 1 kilogram of dried cannabis at his home. He was indicted on April 8 for violating the same law.
He had been working as a store manager at a shop in Kanagawa Prefecture that sold products containing cannabis-derived ingredients.
