Soapland Staff Arrested for Facilitating Prostitution

On June 17, the Chiba District Public Prosecutor’s Office indicted a 76-year-old man, a company director in Chiba City, and three others for violating the Prostitution Prevention Law for providing places where prostitution takes place. According to the District Public Prosecutor’s Office’s indictment, the number of times they provided places for prostitution was 110,000 times in total, using two shops.

The other three charged were a company officer (61), a company employee (46), and another company employee (41).

According to the indictment, the defendants allegedly conspired to provide places of prostitution for a total of 116,916 times between September 1, 2021 and May 27, 2024 at two soaplands (brothels), Country Club and Elite, in Chiba City which they were involved in managing.
