Shinjuku Happening Bar 9259 Owners Arrested

Suspect Akira Kawada (45), the owner of the happening bar “BAR EDEN 9259” in Okubo, Shinjuku ward, along with five others, were arrested on suspicion of assisting in “public indecency,” where they allowed customers to be seen by other patrons while walking around naked or engaging in such activities.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, the crackdown took place on the evening of the 28th, with approximately 20 men and women present at the establishment.

The suspects, including Kawada, reportedly instructed customers not to disclose anything that happened inside the bar. It’s said that this bar has been in operation for nearly three years and has generated sales of approximately 137 million yen.
