A Saudi Arabian diplomat working at the Embassy in Japan, was sent to prosecutors by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police on the 6th for allegedly violating Tokyo’s Public Nuisance Ordinance by groping a woman’s chest at a lounge in Roppongi.
The Tokyo police requested the man appear at the embassy twice in October, but he did not comply. It is believed he returned to Saudi Arabia in November.
The allegations sent to prosecutors state that around 2:50 a.m. on July 15, at a lounge in Roppongi, the man groped the chest of a woman in her 20’s, whom he did not know.
