On the 10th, authorities disclosed that a tragic incident occurred at the Roppongi Hills commercial development in Minato Ward, as a man tragically fell to his death from an observation deck.
Around 8:30 p.m., a security guard contacted the police, reporting, “A person has jumped from the rooftop deck.”
As per the Azabu Police Station, the young man, estimated to be in his 20s, was subsequently discovered on the rooftop of a nearby building. Regrettably, he was later pronounced deceased at a hospital.
This unfortunate event transpired from the Rooftop Sky Deck, situated on the 54th floor of the complex, at an elevation of roughly 240 meters above the ground.
Authorities are currently working to verify the man’s identity, with indications suggesting that he may have intentionally leaped from the observation deck.
