Three boys were arrested last year for possession of marijuana and methamphetamine at a junior high school in Osaka.
Two of the three were in their third year of junior high school at the time, while the other was a 17-year-old high school student. The two were arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis since September 2023 when they were junior high school students, while the high school boy is suspected of selling marijuana to the two kids.
Marijuana and methamphetamine were found at the junior high school and the boys’ homes, and police investigated and found that a high school boy, a local fellow student, had given them away. The two boys admitted the charges, while the high school boy remained silent.

Four other students were also arrested for possession of cannabis at the junior high school, and police are investigating how they got it.
