Hoya Hitoshi (50), is suspected of placing the body of his wife, Miji (39) into a drum can and abandoning it in a storage unit in Tokorazawa City.
According to police, the drum can was collected by a recycling company after Hoya stopped paying for the rental unit. The next day, the company discovered a woman’s body inside the drum can.
He has also made statements that hit at having killed Miji, and police are investigating for further details.
