Rui Sakuragi, 55, an AV star who took the 1990’s by storm, updated her social media on December 11 announcing that she will release a new photo book in January.
She posted that ‘Attention! A new photo book taken by photographer Shin Yamagishi will be released. The title is “Sakuragi Rui Photo Book RUI”, the release date is January 22, 2025.” I received a lot of demands for a physical photo book, so we have decided to release this. Thank you all very much.’
Sakuragi became popular in the 1980’s and 1990’s and active in AV, bikini modeling as well as TV shows. She started her X account last September, and in August of this year, reported a reunion with another legendary AV idol, Hiitomi Kobayashi with a photo of the two of them.
Since December she has been working at a luxury members-only hostess club ‘Ginza Elle Princess’ with Hitomi Kobayashi.
