A Korean university student studying in Japan was arrested on charges of indecency with a junior high school girl.
The police arrested a university student of South Korean nationality, Hwang Kyung-hyun, 23, on May 9 on suspicion of non-consensual indecency with a junior high school girl.
In January of this year, the man is suspected of committing indecent acts, including touching and rubbing a junior high school girl, for about an hour in an apartment in Nakano Ward, Tokyo, where he was living at the time.
The girl was an acquaintance of a woman the man was dating and the offense was committed when the girlfriend and the junior high school girl visited the man’s apartment.
The man denied some of the charges when questioned by the police, saying that he had touched her breasts but not intentionally.
