The trial has begun for a former manager of a massage parlor in Kyoto, who is accused of allowing a Chinese student to live at the shop and coercing her into providing illegal sexual services to customers. The defendant has admitted to the charges.
Chinese National Rah Kuo Lei, 45, is accused of having a Chinese student, 35, provide sexual services to two male customers at a massage parlor in Kyoto, despite the shop being in an area where the law prohibits sex shops.
At the first trial on August 23 at the Kyoto District Court, the defendant admitted to violating the Entertainment Business Law, stating, “I acknowledge all the wrongs I committed.” However, the defense indicated that they would withhold the admission for the time being.
On the other hand, the prosecution pointed out that the defendant allowed the female employee who had entered the country with a student visa to live in the shop and provide sexual services.
