A 20-year-old Indonesian National was arrested in Sapporo for threatening a coworker with a knife at his home.
According to police, another coworker called police that “a foreign intern trainee has a kitchen knife,” and officers rushed to the scene and arrested the man on the spot.
The man had gotten drunk at a drinking party and had been carried home by coworkers. Later, when the coworkers went back to check on him, the man reportedly wielded a knife at them while speaking some foreign language.
None of the coworkers were injured.
