A 25-year-old female suspect, arrested on suspicion of swindling men out of cash by calling herself “Itadaki girl” on social media, was found to have spent approximately 40 million yen at a male host bar in Kabukicho, Tokyo, and police have arrested two male hosts for knowingly accepting cash that had been swindled.

Two suspects, Hiroshi Tanaka, 26, and Kazuki Hashimoto, 34, both employees of a male host bar in Kabukicho, were arrested.

Reportedly, the two suspects are suspected of violating the Organized Crime Punishment Law by knowingly accepting a total of approximately 40 million yen in cash from May Watanabe, 25, an unemployed woman with no fixed address, who was arrested for extorting cash from men, last year and two years ago as payment for expensive drinks at the bar.

The police haven’t revealed the two men’s admissions.

Watanabe has also been arrested and charged with helping to swindle men out of their cash by calling herself a “Itadaki girl” on social media and selling “Love manuals”, and the police are investigating the cash further, believing that the swindled money was used to pay for drink at the male host bar.
