A Filipino woman, Irene Ronda Hosokawa (54), was sent to prosecutors for driving under the influence, driving in the wrong direction, and crashing into an oncoming car, injuring two innocent people, including the 19-year-old female driver.
Both victims are believed to have sustained minor injuries.
The police initially arrested Hosokawa on the spot on suspicion of driving under the influence but later, on the morning of the 27th, changed the charge to dangerous driving causing injury and sent her case to prosecutors.
