The Hyogo Prefectural Police have arrested a Filipino National and temporary worker, 34, in Kobe, on suspicion of causing injury to a girl with the intent to sexually assault her.
The suspect was arrested at around 11:20 P.M. on July 29 and is suspected of attempting to sexually assault a woman, 15, pushing her down from behind and causing minor injuries by pressing a stun gun against her back. He has admitted the charges.
According to the police, a male passer-by called the police after hearing the woman’s screams. The suspect had fled, but surfaced after reviewing security cameras.
