Four Individuals Arrested for Employing High School Girls in Ikebukuro Dispatch-Type Escort Service and Engaging Them in Lewd Acts”
The owner of a dispatch-type escort service in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Susumu Sugiyama (37), and the manager Atsushi Atsumi (37), along with two others, have been arrested for allegedly hiring a 16-year-old high school girl without proper age verification, despite her being under 18, and involving her in lewd acts with male customers in their 50’s in a hotel last August.
According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, the high school girl had reportedly submitted an altered image of her insurance card, changing her date of birth to make herself appear 19 years old.
It is believed that the high school girl engaged with around 75 male customers, earning approximately 800,000 yen in the span of about four months. She mentioned that she needed the money to pursue her interests as a ‘Men’s Underground Idol’ follower.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Police estimates that Susumu Sugiyama and others generated approximately 114 million yen in revenue over the course of around six and a half years.
