Li Haifu (45), a Chinese National living in Hachioji City was arrested for purchasing approximately 14.27 million yen worth of gold coins and ingots, despite knowing they were stolen.
The gold items had been stolen from a house in Asahikawa City, and according to police, Li is believed to have conspired with accomplices to purchase the stolen gold.
