Wang Likun, 27, a Chinese national and graduate of Kyoto University was arrested for unlawful entry and impersonating another person to enter a TOEIC test site.
According to reports, Wang went to the venue wearing a mask, hiding a microphone in it. It is believed he may have been communicating with other test takers and relaying test answers.
Upon further investigation, he stated, “I wanted to make money.”
