Deng Hongpeng, a 42-year-old Chinese demolition worker is suspected of driving an SUV while under the influence, hitting four children, causing serious injuries. After hitting the young kids, he fled the scene. Wang Hongli, a 25-year old Chinese National was sitting in the passenger seat, and is suspected of knowing he was driving under the influence.
Further investigation revealed that they had been drinking together two hours prior to the incident.
