The manager of show club BURLESQUE TOKYO, Ryota Naito(51) was arrested on the 21st. The accused allowed female employees to entertain customers without permission violating the “Business Affecting Public Morals Regulation Act“.
Aichi Prefecture Police say he is suspected of conspiring with workers at the establishment in November 2023 to allow female employees to entertain customers directly. He admits to the charges made against him.
BURLESQUE TOKYO features performances by sexy female dancers that entertain patrons on stage and in proximity at tables serving beverages. The establishment sells novelty money in the form of tips known as “Lions”, which customers would place into the dancer’s lingerie or cleavages. The tips paid by each patron in “Lions” would dictate the level of service received.
The accused was previously arrested on January 31st for his involvement in a similar incident that occurred at an affiliated store in Nagoya
