Tuong Te Bai (35), a Vietnamese National, was arrested for breaking into a demolition site at a condominium in Tokyo and stealing about 50 kilograms of copper wire. The approximate value of the stolen goods amounts to about 550,000 Yen.
According to investigators, the case came to light after analyzing the phone of another Vietnamese man who had already been indicted for the case. Additionally, DNA from a cigarette butt left at the scene matched Tuong’s, leading to his arrest.
During questioning, Tuong stated, “I don’t remember anything.”
