Raksacho Attawut, a Thai National and another Thai woman were arrested for thefts targeting vacant houses in Chiba, Saitama, and other areas.
According to investigations, the two targeted vacant houses using “Google Maps.” They are suspected of breaking into vacant homes, stealing cash, necklaces, and other valuables. The number thefts amount to 245, with damages of about 9.3 million yen.
During the arrest, they claimed that they had trouble with “living expenses,” and committed the crimes.
