2 Chinese Nationals Arrested for Over 10 Burglaries

Two men, who claim to be of Chinese Nationality, have been arrested for breaking into an unoccupied house in Kashiwa City, with the intent to steal valuables. The two are suspected of repeatedly committing more than 10 burglaries targeting vacant homes in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

The suspects, including a man who identifies himself as “Chen En” and claims to be of Chinese Nationality, allegedly broke into a vacant house in Kashiwa City last month with the intent to steal valuables.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, one suspect broke a window to enter the house and searched inside for about an hour. However, he was unable to find any valuables and fled without stealing anything.

The other suspect is believed to have acted as a lookout.

Both suspects have denied the charges, stating, “We’ve never been to the house and have no memory of committing a burglary.”

The police have confirmed more than 10 burglary cases targeting vacant homes in the metropolitan area and are investigating the suspects’ involvement.
