A Malaysian National Chan Sai Kit (35) was rearrested for allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine worth 6.4 million yen at his home in Nagoya City.
According to police, between December of last year and last month, Chan allegedly manufactured approximately 96.5 grams of methamphetamine—worth around 6.38 million yen—at his home for commercial purposes. Additionally, last month, he was found in possession of approximately 1.8 kilograms of methamphetamine, with a street value of 1.2 billion yen.
Chan had already been arrested last month for smuggling methamphetamine worth approximately 2.6 billion yen from Malaysia.
While the police have not disclosed whether he has admitted to the charges, they suspect he is part of a drug smuggling organization and are continuing their investigation into the group’s operations.
