The Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s Public Security Division arrested four individuals, including the suspect Shingo Iijima (42) from Adachi Ward, Nishi Arai, on suspicion of violating the Anti-Prostitution Law (mediation) by dispatching Vietnamese women to engage in prostitution. Additionally, four Vietnamese women, employees of the establishment, were arrested on suspicion of violating the Immigration Control Act (engaging in unauthorized activities) for working at the establishment without the proper residence qualifications, such as technical intern training.

The arrest warrants for the four, including Iijima, allege that between July and October, they conspired to dispatch female employees of the dispatched-type adult entertainment establishment “Reiwa Bishoujo” to hotels near Kitaoizuka in Toshima Ward, facilitating prostitution.

According to the Public Security Division, the establishment had over 20 employees, and it is estimated to have generated approximately 300 million yen in revenue over six years. The division has not disclosed their stance on the allegations.
