On December 2, police arrested a Chinese man in his thirties who had fled after entering the banquet hall at Hotel MiraCosta in TokyoDisneySea armed with a knife.
This incident occurred on December 1 at around 8pm when the man armed with a kitchen knife entered the banquet hall at Hotel MiraCosta in TokyoDisneySea, then fled the scene.
Police had been pursuing the man’s whereabouts, believing he had fled by train from Maihama Station. According to investigative sources, the Chinese national was apprehended and arrested in Kawasaki City.
The man was a former employee of the company that had been using the banquet hall at the time, and police are investigating the circumstances.
